Not much time right now other than to mention this -- away from home this weekend -- but just before we left I saw there was a letter from AD Glenn Hofmann to season ticket holders explaining the situation with the scoreboard. From memory, Glenn said that they have one of the new ones on order (moving up the original timeframe which was next summer) and it will be installed in a few weeks. They also think they may have the old ones working again and will either go with those until the new one arrives or temporary ones if necessary.

Mainly, I was very impressed to see such a letter in the mail. To me it does indicate a completely new and different way of doing business. It's also reinforced the feeling I have had for a long time that you have to be honest and forthright with people, even when the news might not be the best. My hope is people will appreciate this refreshing change and lend their support. All the way around I see a positive direction.
